Welcome to The Root of It Podcast, a space for talking about food, farming, nature and the environment.
My first guest is Brad Currin, who studied alongside me at the Royal Agricultural University, after leaving a 25-year career in corporate IT.
We reflect on our experiences of going to agricultural college as relative outsiders, and talk about the key things we've learned, including the challenges of running a profitable farm business, the opportunities of regenerative agriculture and what we now think about eating meat.
This is the first of three episodes that I’ll be releasing weekly, with episodes coming out every two weeks thereafter (depending on guest availability). Episodes will also be available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Enjoy!
